About MG Garage Breda

The company was founded in 1989 and has been based in Breda ever since. In the early years, mainly MGs imported from America were sold. Later, minor repairs and maintenance were also performed. A supply line for parts from England was established; this was a very busy period, especially in the early years of MG Car. Saturdays, in particular, were a busy and always convivial time, during which many a hobbyist had a great deal to say about their hobby due to the sometimes long waiting times.

In addition to the import and sale of MGs and parts, many MGs were also professionally restored. These found buyers throughout the Netherlands, but MGs were also sold to Germany, Belgium, France, and even one to Austria. From the late 1990s onwards, imports from the USA declined, partly due to market saturation, but also because the largest market from which most MGs originated was drying up. From the late 1990s, the focus of MG Car increasingly shifted towards repair and maintenance work. In early 2007, the name was changed to MG Garage Breda. To this day, you can come here for restoration, repair, maintenance, and parts for MGs, Triumphs, and Minis.

In short, still a friendly little company where, outside of work and sales, there is always room and time for a pleasant chat.
