Cadillac Eldorado convertible

The 3rd generation Cadillac Eldorado went into series production as early as 1959. For the first few years, Cadillac sold the slightly revised Eldorado Broughams designed by Cadillac in a joint venture with the Italian Pininfarina. The cars were assembled in Italy and were characterized by narrower taillights and a redesigned roofline compared to the previous generation model. However, due to reduced quality during the assembly of the models, Cadillac decided to move production to their factory in Detroit. Aside from the fenders, the Eldorado convertible was very similar to the coupé variant in terms of exterior lines.
