The Molentocht Goes took place for the first time in 1989 as an alternative Windmill Run for about 25 members of the English 750 Motor Club and celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2013. Over the years, this gathering of exclusively Austin Sevens has grown into an international classic car event featuring a range of cars that have long since disappeared from the streets. Every year, several dozen participants from England register, including a wide variety of pre-war Austin Sevens. Participation in the Molentocht is open to cars and motorcycles up to and including the 1969 model year, up to a maximum of 300.
On Sunday, May 18, 2014, the 26th Molentocht Goes will be held with classic vehicles from before 1970, including cars, motorcycles, and mopeds. There are several stops along the way, and the finish is at the Grote Markt in Goes.
